Wayne Wayne Pretorius

Wayne Pretorius is a Chartered Accountant (South Africa) with more than 25 years of experience in external audit and assurance, specializing in the financial services sector. His expertise spans asset management, private equity, investment funds, real estate, insurance, development finance institutions, and banking across Africa and the Middle East.

Currently based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Wayne serves as a Senior Director at BDO Saudi Arabia (Dr. Mohamed Al-Amri & Co.), where he leads the delivery of external audit and assurance services to a diverse portfolio of public and private sector clients across multiple industries. He is committed to delivering high-quality audits, fostering strong client relationships, and helping organizations navigate increasingly complex regulatory and reporting environments.
Prior to joining BDO, Wayne was a Partner at KPMG South Africa and KPMG Mauritius, and previously served as Head of Audit for KPMG Cape Town. Throughout his career, he has worked with a broad range of local, regional, and international clients, developing deep industry expertise and extensive experience across both emerging and developed markets.
